CNS and aggregation

Neurodegeneration programs turn on aggregation. We run the assays that show whether a molecule changes it, and we bring the biology to read them.

Targets we work on

  • Tau
  • Alpha-synuclein
  • TDP-43
  • Amyloid-beta

We make the monomer too

Aggregation work is only as good as the starting material, so we generate the monomer ourselves rather than starting from whatever a vendor shipped. We express and purify the monomeric protein, confirm it is monomeric before the run, and then take it through controlled aggregation. That means the seed, the substrate and the timeline are all ours, and a result can be traced back to material we prepared.

Background

Our work includes a PhD on tau fibrils and experience across a clinical-stage neuroscience antibody portfolio.
